'Tis the Season To Be Jolly...
... but is it the season to be spending? I read the financial news religiously, and I don't know that I believe what it's telling me. The financial news claims that people are spending big money this holiday season; retailers are rejoicing; the recession is over... Hooray!!!! But this isn't the case where I live. The stores are nearly empty. I'm not seeing people with carts full of stuff.
What's the situation where you are? Are you spending more money than in the recent past? Are stores where you are crowded with shoppers with full carts?
Let's have a discussion so that we all know what the reality is!
